If you leave Openleet
Before you put your business on any platform, you should know how to leave it. Here is exactly what happens if you stop using Openleet.
- Do I own what I put on Openleet?
- Yes. Your words, photos, prices and other details stay yours. Openleet only has your permission to show them while they are published. See section 4 of our Terms.
- Can I keep my domain if I leave?
- Yes. Openleet does not sell domains. You buy your domain from a company like GoDaddy, Namecheap or Webnames and connect it to Openleet. If you leave, you point it somewhere else in your domain account. There is nothing to transfer from us.
- How do I cancel a paid plan?
- Email info@openleet.com and we will move you to the free Profile plan. There is no cancellation fee and no notice period. Paid features stop at the end of the month you have already paid for.
- What happens to my content when I cancel?
- Nothing is deleted. Your free profile stays online. Parts that need a paid plan, such as your website, stop showing. They come back if you upgrade again.
- Can I get a copy of my content?
- There is no download button yet. Email info@openleet.com and we will send you a copy of the text and photos on your profile and website. Your public business details are also always available as files at the end of your profile address, for example /ai.json and /schema.jsonld.
- Can I delete my profile completely?
- Yes. Email info@openleet.com from the address on your account. We remove your profile from Openleet. Copies that search engines or other websites already made are controlled by them and can take a while to disappear. See section 14 of our Privacy Policy.
The full details are in our Terms and Privacy Policy. Questions? Email info@openleet.com.
